Grain Originator - Indiana

As a Grain Originator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's Grain Origination efforts in Southern Indiana. Building upon your experience in the agriculture industry, you will be responsible for strategic decision-making and managing producer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of relationships with producers and in your territory, leveraging your expertise to foster long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships
• Proactively engage with existing and prospective customers at a high level, providing advanced marketing insights and solutions that align with business objectives
• Spearhead customer recruitment initiatives within the trade territory, strategically expanding market share and solidifying the company’s position regionally
• Oversee the execution of producer contracts for both delivered and FOB purchases, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction
• Lead and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the company's grain hedging and risk management processes, actively managing the company’s risk positions

Requirements

• Experience in an Origination or other Grain related role highly preferred
• Working knowledge of grain movements, basis patterns, pricing, supply & demand, and risk management strategies
