Territory Sales Manager - Grain Solutions

Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to develop strategic partnerships with grain organizations across their Midwest territories while introducing advanced grain marketing solutions. This role focuses on helping commercial grain businesses strengthen producer relationships through innovative, data-driven marketing programs and long-term customer partnerships.



Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with grain cooperatives, commercial elevators, and grain companies throughout an assigned territory
  • Introduce grain marketing solutions that enhance existing producer marketing programs
  • Build relationships with grain managers, merchandising teams, commercial leadership, and executive decision makers
  • Lead consultative sales discussions focused on improving producer engagement and expanding grain marketing offerings
  • Work alongside customer merchandising teams to support successful implementation and long-term adoption
  • Identify opportunities to expand partnerships across multi-location organizations
  • Maintain an active pipeline of strategic accounts and accurately forecast business activity
  • Collaborate with internal sales, operations, and leadership teams while representing the organization at industry meetings, customer events, and agricultural conferences and traveling throughout the assigned territory to develop and maintain customer relationships


Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in grain merchandising, grain origination, commercial grain sales, agricultural technology sales, or grain account management
  • Strong understanding of grain marketing programs, merchandising, risk management, and commercial grain operations
  • Experience selling solutions into grain elevators, cooperatives, or commercial agribusiness organizations
  • Existing relationships with decision makers in the grain industry preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex business-to-business sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable presenting to executive leadership while also working closely with grain managers and merchandising teams
  • Strong consultative selling, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
