They are seeking a motivated professional to join their team and contribute to the success of their clients by developing tailored risk-management strategies and building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong client base by developing trust and long-term partnerships.
- Assess client needs to identify price sensitivity, financial risk, and operational goals.
- Design and implement risk-management strategies using tools such as physical contracts, futures, and options.
- Stay informed on market trends and educate clients on opportunities and risks.
- Conduct outside sales calls and actively seek new business opportunities.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Proactively promote and educate clients on the firm’s technology and resources.
- Travel as needed to support clients and business development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Series 3 Commodities Brokerage License preferred but not required at the start.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in the agricultural sector working directly with producers
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and a willingness to learn new software.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for outside sales and business development.
