Formulator - Animal Nutrition

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain feed formulations that support production, quality, and customer requirements
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure formulations are successfully implemented in production
- Monitor formulation performance and recommend adjustments when needed to support product consistency
- Assist with ingredient evaluations and formulation updates as raw materials or product requirements change
- Support troubleshooting efforts involving formulation-related production or quality concerns
- Maintain accurate formulation documentation and technical records
- Partner with internal teams to support continuous improvement initiatives related to feed formulation
- Stay current on industry practices and nutritional advancements that support product performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with commercial feed formulation or a strong aptitude for feed formulation principles
- Understanding of animal nutrition fundamentals and ingredient utilization
- Ability to analyze technical information and make sound formulation recommendations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
