Senior Feed Ingredient Trader

Our client is a well-established operator in the Southeastern feed and grain market. They are seeking a Senior Feed Ingredient Trader to take ownership of an existing book of business while expanding trading activity across a diversified feed ingredient portfolio.

This role is built for a trader, someone who understands physical execution, futures risk, and logistics, and can manage positions tied to real assets. This role offers solid growth opportunity for the right individual.

Location: Jacksonville/Gainesville, Florida

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a physical trading book across the Southeast
• Trade soybean meal, corn co-products, cottonseed, citrus pulp, and related feed ingredients
• Understand and optimize freight and logistics tied to assets and counterparties
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to drive margin and execution
• Build and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships

Qualifications

• 7+ years of feed ingredient/agricultural commodity trading experience
• Proven experience managing futures and flat price positions/risk
• Strong understanding of freight, logistics, and physical execution
• Demonstrated ability to run a trading book, not just sell product
• Southeast market experience preferred but not required
